Comfort and Views offers its guests accommodation in an idyllic scenery filled with warmth, colour and beauty.
Located in a picturesque natural setting, just off the border with Italy and Slovenia, in the town of Hermagor, in Austria, our guesthouse offers you ideal conditions for comfort and recreation, regardless of the season. In close proximity, about 3 km away, is Nassfeld Ski Arena, the ski resort in the district of Hermagor (In the top 10 ski resorts in Austria). It is located at the Nassfeld Pass and offers 110 km of pistes, extensive off-piste opportunities, and 30 ski lifts. The Ski Arena caters for all levels of ability from a dedicated and extensive teaching area to black runs for the expert skier. There is also a fantastic ‘Snowboard Park’ with the ultimate half pipe. The Nassfeld has over 220 snow machines for creating artificial snow and ensuring good skiing conditions during the season.
The Millenium-Express cable car lift, the longest cable car system in the Alps, takes you to the top in less than 15 minutes, at 1.919 meters where you can admire a gorgeous, unique view towards both Italy and Austria.
Beautifully located amid mountains, forests and meadows, the crystal-clear Lake Pressegger See boasts super clean water fit for drinking, and thanks to the many sunshine hours here it is one of Austria’s warmest swimming lakes. We are just a few minutes away drive from Weissensee Natural Park and Lake Weissensee (altitude 900 m). Besides gorgeous views, both lakes offer ideal conditions for swimming in summer and skating in winter. (See video and images in Gallery)
The accommodation we provide to tourists is placed in a completely refurbished villa that preserves the area’s style and architecture. The pension can accommodate up to 12 people, so it is ideal for group holidays. Accommodation is made in 4 newly furnished bedrooms and one living room. There are 3 fully-equipped bathrooms plus 2 other toilets, a fully equipped kitchen, and a living/entertainment room.
The 4 bedrooms of the guest house have been individually decorated, furnished, and equipped, and designed to meet the different tastes, demands and needs of the guests.
The bedrooms have a size between 12 and 20 square meters and include basic amenities: bed for 2 people, size from 160 to 180 cm / 200 cm, wardrobe with 2-3 doors, bedside tables, mirror, desk and a chair. One bedroom has a sofa bed and the other 2 bedrooms allow the installation of an extra bed for 1 person. Two of the bedrooms have access to the balcony.
The kitchen is modern, well equipped, beside kitchen furniture, with a large refrigerator, electric hob, hood, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dining place for 6-8 people, tableware, dishes, kitchen utensils, and so on.
The multi-functional room has 50 sqm, has direct and outward access to the parking lot, and features: Air Conditioning, Big Screen SMART TV with Satellite Receiver, Blu-ray Home Cinema, a Ping-Pong table, Darts, and various games. The furniture in the room includes a 160 x190 cm extensible sofa, a cozy armchair, chairs, dining room furniture suitable for table games or dining for 8-12 people, an adjacent table, and more.
The entertainment room can be used as a living room, dining room, cinema hall or for musical audiences, games room, sports and leisure room.
If necessary and agreed, 2 persons can sleep in comfortably.
How do we distinguish ourselves from the offers of accommodation in this region, what do we offer in addition and why our guest house is called Comfort and Views Villa?

In terms of Comfort, we have endeavoured to offer our guests besides a warm and friendly atmosphere, a plus of quality, adopting many standards of superior Comfort available only in 4 and 5 stars resorts:
– We have noticed in accommodation offers in the region, an excess of Ikea furniture, beds of plank or pallet, bedded, narrow beds, with simple, thin mattresses. So, in order to offer superior comfort for our guests, we have opted for the best quality modern furniture, 160 or 180-cm wide double beds, fitted with super-comfortable orthopedic mattresses.
– Instead of hard floors (flooring, parquet or tiles), the entire villa is carpeted and the bedrooms in particular offer spoil for feet and maximum comfort through the floor covered with thick carpeting installed over a layer of underlay.
– The villa is equipped with a complex sanitary installation of pumps and pipes designed to provide instant hot water to the bathrooms (2 hot water pipes to the bath + special pump).
– Sanitary groups are equipped with special ventilation systems, effective for evacuating odours, very rarely encountered due to the complexity.
– For added safety, the guesthouse is provided and monitored by modern smoke detection, video surveillance and alarm systems.
– Instead of a traditional, classic living room, we provide a large multi-functional room, equipped with various facilities and indoor games for leisure and entertainment.
– Details. Many other details are meant to provide and increase comfort.
Other facilities:
– Free transfer from Hermagor train station (from 1st of May to 1st of November).
– Free private parking for up to 4 cars.
– Internet is free of charge (WI-FI).
– Large terrace with superb views, with rocking chair for 3 people, terrace furniture, etc.
– All windows and doors to the outside are provided with anti-insect nets.
– Linen and towels for each person are included in the rental rate.
– Sauna with a capacity of 4 – 5 persons and shower (10 Euro/hour).
Upon an arrangement may be available, if desired, free of charge:
– Iron, Ironing board.
– Auto battery charger, auto air compressor.
For a fee, following an agreement, we can offer you:
– Breakfast, other meals.
– Car rent. Comfortable, full option minibus rental with 8 + 1 seats, for excursions in the area or transfers (with driver).
– Accommodation of the third person in the room, on extra bed (in Intim and living room) or using the extensible sofa in the Premium room.
– Accommodation in Multifunctional Room.
General rules and considerations:
The entire villa is carpeted so that the shoes will remain at the entrance and inside the guests will wear slippers.
Smoking inside is not allowed!
The bedrooms are upstairs, the kitchen, the living room and the sauna are 2 levels below, the access is on the stairs.
Entrance to the villa can be from the main entrance or directly from the parking area.
The owner lives in the villa but has separate access, and does not interfere with the area allocated to tourists.
